Post Graduate Teacher (PGT)	(a) Master Degree from a recognized University with atleast 50% marks in aggregate in relevant subject. (b) B.Ed. or equivalent degree from recognised University. (c) Proficiency in teaching in Hindi and English mediums. Desirable: Knowledge of computer applications.
Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT)	Graduation (in relevant subject) and 2-year Diploma in Elementary education (by whatever name known). OR Atleast 50% marks either in Graduation (in relevant subject) or in Post-Graduation (in relevant subject) and B.Ed. OR Graduation (in relevant subject) with atleast 45% marks and 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition norms and procedure) regulations issued from time to time in this regard. OR 12th(+2Stage) (or its equivalent) with atleast 50% marks and 4-year Bachelor in Elementary education (B.El.Ed). OR 12th(+2Stage) (or its equivalent) with atleast 50% marks and 4-year B.A./B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed. OR Graduation (in relevant subject) with atleast 50% marks and one year B.Ed (Special Education). Railway Teacher 2025 Examination Fee Details

• For General/OBC (NCL)/EWS Candidates :-  RS. 500/- (Out of this Fee of RS. 500/- an amount of RS. 400/- shall be refunded in due course duly deducting bank charges, on appearing in 1st Stage CBT.)

• For SC/ST/PwBDs/Female/Transgender/Ex-Servicemen/Minority Communities/Economically Backward Class (EBC) Candidates :- RS. 250/- (Out of this Fee of RS. 250/- an amount of RS. 250/- shall be refunded in due course duly deducting bank charges, on appearing in 1st Stage CBT.)

• Payment Mode :- Fee can be paid by the Candidates through Online only, Internet Banking/Debit Card/Credit Card/UPI etc.
